Ararat  is a film about the genocide of Armenians in 1915. It’s a biopic of the great Armenian painter Arshile Gorky. "Ararat" explicitly views the past from the perspective of the present, using the device of a film-within-a-film, featuring tiny 70s crooner Charles Aznavour and screenwriter (Eric Bogosian), both from Armenian descent.
